Key Responsibilities

  1. Building a High-Performing Data Platform: Assist in creating a state-of-the-art data platform to support reporting tools and analytics, focusing on optimizing data models for performance.
  2. Data Tools Development: Develop data tools for analytics and optimize data models. Evaluate and communicate the benefits and drawbacks of different modeling approaches.
  3. Production Data Pipelines: Design and construct production data pipelines within a big data architecture, incorporating continuous delivery practices for deployment and support.
  4. Understanding Data Enterprise Applications: Gain a comprehensive understanding of data enterprise applications, including unified ID, de-duplication, classification, and aggregation models. Identify and prioritize data sources.
  5. Data Quality Integration: Integrate data quality practices into daily tasks and the delivery process, ensuring data quality throughout the data life cycle.
  6. Database Experience: Work with relational SQL databases and NoSQL databases, such as Redshift or cloud-based OLAP databases like Snowflake. Handle data ingestion from various sources and formats, including Rest APIs, flat files, logs, SQL, and NoSQL databases.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Proficiency with Big Data, DataLake, Databricks, Synapse, PySpark, Spark, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, and SQL Server.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with direct client interaction experience.
  • Exposure to ETL tools and Data Warehouses (a plus).
  • Experience in designing relational, multidimensional, and Master Data Management systems.
  • Desirable experience in designing and implementing end-to-end cloud data engineering solutions, preferably on Azure or any other cloud platform.
