Job Description

As a Data Governance and Commission Analyst, you will manage and maintain the organization's Go-To-Market (GTM) data governance policies and procedures as well as administer the US Retail Commission program. In this key role, you will drive strategy, execution, and ongoing oversight of data governance projects and standards that support the growth and scalability of sales technologies, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

This role is ideal for individuals looking to leverage their experience to become a critical member of our Global Sales Operations Business Intelligence team and a central figure with our internal stakeholders.

You will collaborate with key organizational stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of business needs, perform comprehensive analysis, and execute solutions to transform the business through governance processes, technology, and policies.

Data Governance Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the organization's data governance policies and procedures.
  • Execute the data governance strategy to support the organization's strategic objectives, specifically around self-service.
  • Ensure the organization's data is managed and used in compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  • Create and maintain a data catalog, documenting the organization's data assets and their uses.
  • Develop and enforce data quality standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient data use.
  • Implement solutions to improve data quality across all data domains.
  • Evaluate and assess upstream solutions to minimize manual ad-hoc data requests in the sales operations inbox.
  • Support projects impacting data migration and data governance.

Incentive Compensation Administration Responsibilities

  • Administer the organization's incentive compensation program for the US Retail division.
  • Analyze and report on compensation trends and data to inform decision-making.
  • Manage the process for setting and communicating compensation policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure compensation programs are consistent and fair across the organization.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experience, including:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related Information Technology/Engineering discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of and work experience with SQL or other relational database querying languages.
  • Familiarity with technical systems requirements and operational processes in asset management, management consulting, financial services, or sales organizations is a plus.
  • Experience with data architecture, modeling, trend analysis, and statistics.
  • Experience with data integration, system consolidation, data management, and business reporting.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience with incentive compensation tools such as Xactly, SAP, or CaptivateIQ preferred.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and pattern recognition skills.
  • Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand business questions/pain points and alleviate them with supporting data.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to data quality, detail, and accuracy.
