Data Governance Product Director
Join JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Data Governance Product Director within our Engineering and Architecture Product team. As an advocate for our clients, you will play a pivotal role in Solution Design and the delivery of client-centric product features. Collaborate with colleagues across Engineering, Design, and Information Architecture to ensure successful client-focused, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
As the Data Governance Product Director, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets.
- Leading the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development to support growth with a focus on cost, features, reusability, and reliability.
- Coaching and mentoring the product team on best practices, including solution discovery, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery.
- Owning product performance and investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives.
- Delivering Data Governance solutions across several work-streams, including Data Lineage, Data Quality, Data Cataloging, and Data Modeling.
- Driving objectives, key risks, and metrics to measure the success of the Governance product.
- Developing user journeys and related artifacts to communicate persona-based experience, and documenting business process modeling activities for future reference.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in delivering products, projects, or technology applications.
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to influence and adopt key product life cycle activities, including discovery, ideation, strategic development, and value management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior management, partner with internal teams, and leverage internal resources.
- Experience in developing, tracking, measuring, and improving OKRs and driving outcomes.
- Experience with building, launching, and operating client-facing API or integration capabilities, including a deep understanding of developer experience needs.
- Experience with complex data mapping and integration patterns across internal legacy and cloud systems, lines of business, and vendor systems.

- Recognized thought leader within a related field.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
- Experience in financial services or SaaS data platforms.
- Prior product solutioning and delivery experience in a Data Governance or Data Management related role.
