Azure Data Lead

HARMAN is seeking an experienced Azure Data Lead with expertise in ADF, Azure Databricks, MS SQL Server, T-SQL, PySpark, and data warehousing solutions.

Job Details:

• Location: Bangalore/WFH
• Experience: 6-8 Years
• Number of positions: 1
• Notice Period: Immediate - 30 Days

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing and implementing data solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of cloud computing principles and architecture.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining ETL data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Azure data services and tools such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python/PySpark, or PowerShell.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
• Exposure to Source Control Management systems like TFS/GIT/SVN.
• Familiarity with Azure security features and cloud migration.
• Understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance best practices.
• Experience in the retail domain is an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Lead workshops to define data ingestion, validation, mining, engineering, modeling, visualization, AI, and analytics requirements.
• Participate in design sessions, demos, prototype sessions, testing, and training workshops.
• Coordinate with offshore teams and clients to resolve technical dependencies, issues, and risks.
• Create ADF & Databricks data transformation pipelines from scratch.
• Implement data security across storage and data movement layers.
• Ensure data is cleansed, mapped, transformed, and optimized for storage and use.
• Automate tasks and deploy production-standard code with unit testing, continuous integration, and versioning.
• Load transformed data into storage and reporting structures, including data warehouses.
