Job Description

As a Data Management Lead at JPMorgan P&A, you will spearhead the development and management of our robust data platform, creating a centralized hub for all P&A stakeholders' data requirements. Your role will be crucial in owning the delivery of platform features and ensuring the efficient distribution of data, with an emphasis on optimizing the client experience. This position involves:

• Collaborating with Technology and Business stakeholders to manage and onboard strategic data sets, supporting advanced financial forecasting and reporting.
• Enhancing data sourcing, transformation, and reporting processes while ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Working alongside Technology to upgrade our data platforms by establishing foundational capabilities for data quality, governance, and process management.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and automation within business processes and data architecture by analyzing current and future states.
• Engaging with internal stakeholders to comprehend their data needs and delivering tailored data services promptly.
• Utilizing a range of technologies and data analytics skills to assess the accuracy of data as it integrates into our system.

Basic Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in technology, data management, or product management within the financial services industry.
• Expertise in data gathering, analytics, and the implementation of cloud-based big-data projects.
• Proficiency in financial concepts and data analysis tools such as SQL.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage projects under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with experience in Python and cloud data platforms like AWS (S3, Redshift).
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Cognos, and Alteryx.
• Familiarity with Agile principles and tools like Confluence/JIRA.
