Position Description:

Within the Data Solution division, you will join the dedicated Datahub team. Reporting to the DataHub Manager, you will be part of a welcoming, motivated, and curious team. Your primary responsibility involves constructing and enriching the Snowflake Datahub (Data Lake + Data Warehouse) for Reporting and Data Science projects.

In our rapidly evolving IT environment (including the roll-out of SAP, an increased focus on Power BI reporting, and the establishment of a Digital Factory), your key duties include:

• Collecting, organizing, and enriching company data in the new Snowflake data warehouse.
• Maintaining, evolving, and creating "Data Products" by participating in projects providing information to Data Analysts and Data Scientists.
• Offering expertise on company data domains and functions for the implementation of reports and Data Science applications.

Your activities will encompass:

• Analyzing and investigating business needs from Data Analysts and Data Scientists.
• Participating in and leading requirements-gathering workshops.
• Translating business needs into technical-functional specifications.
• Identifying and gathering data from various sources.
• Modeling, organizing, and ensuring the coherence of the Datahub.
• Ensuring the quality and confidentiality of stored data.
• Developing the data model in Snowflake.
• Implementing the SOMFY Data Catalog using Datagalaxy.
• Defining and applying test cases to ensure proper data flow operation.
• Providing support and expertise to Data Analysts and Data Scientists.
• Staying updated on new trends and market solutions to continually improve.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Manager, or Project Manager on data projects.
• Proficiency in data modeling principles and master data management.
• Experience with data warehouse tools such as Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, and SQL language.
• Knowledge of project methodologies like Scrum and V-Model.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.

• Effective communication and pedagogical skills to convey requirements.
• Creativity, organization, analytical thinking, and synthesis.
• Fluency in French and English (B2 level or above).

Additional Information:

Contract: CDI, available immediately.
Location: Cluses, with the possibility of working in Annecy (1 day per week); open to SOMFY Group's telework agreements.
