Job Overview

The Data Manager will ensure the quality and accuracy of all daily operational data within the Area. This role requires leveraging data insights to drive actions and solve problems. You will create rules, graphs, and detailed reports to aid management in decision-making based on your findings. This position necessitates approximately 10% travel time to meet with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree and have a background in Statistics, Computer Science, or Machine Learning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing and maintaining oversight of a remote team of data specialists.
• Collaborating with Operations Improvement Manager and Operations Analyst for data outputs.
• Validating daily data through critical reports.
• Handling data collection, preparation, analysis, visualization, and summarization.
• Communicating with Operational Leaders to ensure effective data oversight and management.
• Ensuring accurate metrics recording using various WM systems and programs such as EMAP, MAS, OPUS, Kronos, and others.
• Proficient in programming languages like Python, SQL, R, and C++, and familiar with platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Hive.
• Managing team performance and encouraging continuous skill development within the Data Specialist Team.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are necessary to perform the essential functions of this role:

Education and Experience

• Associate's Degree or High School Diploma and two (2) years of relevant working experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Other Requirements

• No specific certificates or licenses required.

Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Required

• Ability to coach and develop leadership within teams.
• Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $132,000 to $155,000 per year. The specific salary offered to a candidate may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. Additionally, this position is eligible for incentive pay.
