Data Modeler with Colibra

As a Data Modeler with Colibra experience, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and quality of our data assets. You will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and uphold data models, using Colibra to manage metadata and ensure data governance. Your work will aim to enhance data-driven decision-making and propel our data management initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Modeling: Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for various data assets, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to best practices.
2. Colibra Expertise: Use Colibra to manage metadata, data lineage, and data governance processes, ensuring data compliance and quality.
3. Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure that data models align with data integration and data warehousing strategies.
4. Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality rules and conduct data profiling to identify and rectify data quality issues.
5. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to data models, metadata, and data governance processes.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide support for their data-related needs.
7. Data Governance: Aid in the development and enforcement of data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
8. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in data modeling and data governance to enhance our data management capabilities.

Requirements

• Proven 5+ experience as a Data Modeler with a strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Extensive practical knowledge and experience with Colibra and metadata management.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling tools.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience in data governance and data quality assurance is beneficial.
