MDM Data Operations Administrator - Salesforce

CDO is currently seeking a MDM Data Operations Analyst to join our Manchester office. The Chief Data Office (CDO) is pivotal in Fitch's data transformation journey, aiming to deliver modern, scalable, and trusted data solutions. The MDM (Master Data Management) squad focuses on improving data quality, increasing automation by leveraging third-party data providers, and eliminating legacy data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

  • Reviewing and mastering customer data in Salesforce using third-party data sources like Factset, Dun & Bradstreet, and GLEIF
  • Setting up new records, merging, and de-duplicating within agreed SLA deadlines
  • Maintaining governance standards according to Salesforce data policy
  • Collaborating with the Team Supervisor for data validation across key domains
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvements in data processes
  • Ensuring data accuracy and coverage
  • Supporting the development of data definition standards

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have the following experience:

  • Essential knowledge of Salesforce or similar third-party CRM systems
  • Desirable knowledge of Legal Entity and/or Security data
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and large datasets manipulation
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Experience with Master Data Management tools like Informatica
  • Salesforce administration experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Fluent English communication

Preferred Skills

The following skills will set you apart:

  • Experience with data sources such as Factset, Dun & Bradstreet, and Exchange data (e.g., ICE)
  • Proactive, quick learner who can adapt to new processes efficiently
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, juggling multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
