About this role The role is situated in Data Operations within Data & AI, a centralized data group specifically focused on ensuring that all necessary information for the investment management process is delivered consistently, accurately, and on time. This information includes positions, security data, pricing, risk, cash, net asset value (NAV), performance, and compliance through the Green Package. Candidates for this role will be part of our Production Delivery team, a group responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of Risk and Performance Analytics Reporting to our clients via the Green Package (GP) product. The GP is a comprehensive suite of reports and tools enabling portfolio management teams to manage market risk and make informed investment decisions. This work environment is fast-paced and challenging, requiring team members with a keen interest in Finance and Technology. Responsibilities: - Use technical skills to ensure the accuracy of large analytical data sets, automate processes with scripts, and query information efficiently from a vast database. - Pay attention to detail while delivering Green Package analytics and be accountable for the timely delivery of reports to clients per Service Level Agreements. - Attend meetings with Green Package product end-users of all levels within the company, from Portfolio Management Teams to Operations teams, as well as our external clients. - Support client requests relating to Green Package analytics. - Stay updated on global markets daily to understand how macroeconomic factors might affect Green Package analytics and investment decisions. - Engage with other internal teams for project work and think creatively to meet complex client demands. - Be willing to work in a constantly evolving, changing, and challenging environment. - It's beneficial if you understand Fixed Income, Equity, Derivative, and Alternative products and how they're modeled and traded in Aladdin. Qualifications: - Must have excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. - Proactive and detail-oriented. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Familiar with SQL and Unix, and preferably Python and PERL. - Knowledge of financial products in Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives would be advantageous. - A degree in Finance, Engineering, or Technology would be beneficial. - Shift work flexibility and conversational fluency with global counterparts required.
