Join Leidos as a Developer for the FAA’s System Operations Security Group (AJR-2)

Are you an experienced Software Engineer and Release Manager looking to make a significant impact? The NISC IV program at Leidos is seeking a motivated developer to support the FAA’s System Operations Security Group (AJR-2) by developing and presenting innovative Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and other associated applications from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

As a pivotal member of our team, you will:

• Assist AJR-2 in identifying metrics and key performance indicators to portray mission accomplishment through custom applications for diverse audiences.
• Leverage existing FAA capabilities (such as ARCGIS, Tableau, MS Power Automate, KSN, MS Teams) to develop and present custom applications like the FAA GPS Automation Portal (FGAP).
• Maintain FGAP data structures, including moratoriums and GIS linkages, and manage all issues and feature requests with a development team while ensuring data history and integrity.
• Recommend additional capabilities to augment existing FAA capabilities.
• Automate business processes by interviewing business process owners, coding processes into a suitable BPM Automation tool, testing, and rolling out the automated version with supporting documentation and landing pages.
• Integrate all activities to ensure a unified, coordinated, and integrated effort where data sources, dashboards, and business processes are harmoniously developed.

Basic Qualifications

To be eligible, candidates must have:

• A BA degree with 12–15 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 10–13 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, significant related work experience can be substituted.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

Stand out with experience in:

• Software Development/Engineering.
• Agile Methodologies and Technical Coordination.
• FAA’s Knowledge Services Network (KSN) (SharePoint).
• Data visualization best practices with the ability to create impactful dashboards.
• ARCGIS capabilities.
• Leading working groups with multiple agencies and senior-level individuals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Compensation

Pay Range: $108,550.00 - $196,225.00
