The Role As a Product Manager for Data Operations, you will lead a team of labeling operations analysts who work alongside product management, engineering, data science, and external vendors to support the development of machine learning models, metrics, and analyses within the Search and Discovery team. The role is based in Seoul, South Korea. What you’ll do at Coupang - Oversee local Product Support Operations, including programs, service delivery, KPIs, reporting, and forecasting - Set up operational and financial processes, and tooling across the system - Develop strategies for large-scale data collection, lead data labeling efforts, and generate insights - Collaborate with product teams to establish product roadmaps and signal generation/machine learning strategies - Identify and implement ways to boost operational efficiency, quality, and scalable solutions - Create and maintain global Product Support dashboards that demonstrate KPI adherence and provide trends and insights - Supervise day-to-day workflows and metrics of vendor teams pertaining to data labeling efforts - Manage vendor service performance and expenses - Drive continuous enhancements in our support initiatives, emphasizing efficiency and quality. Minimum Qualifications - Capable of communicating analysis results to senior leadership - 5+ years of experience in tech, operations or consulting - 2+ years of experience in AI/ML and labeling operations - Skilled in presenting to senior executive audiences - Experience in training and managing vendor partners across multiple projects in a highly cross-functional environment - Strong critical thinking/analytical capabilities - Proficiency in data analysis and modeling Preferred Qualifications - Fluency in Korean - Experience in building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces
