Job Summary

As a Data Reporting Analyst II, you will operate under general supervision to produce insightful reports and actionable business intelligence for your department or division. This intermediate-level position involves basic assignments and may require guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, write, and present utilization and cost containment reports.
• Determine and agree upon deliverables with the customer, along with the resources needed to meet those deliverables.
• Act as a liaison between IT/vendor and customer if required.
• Perform data analysis including forecasting, modeling, and regression.
• Mine data from relevant systems and conduct appropriate analysis.
• Present data, provide feedback to clients and customers, and make necessary recommendations where appropriate.
• Develop relationships with subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Implement best practices in data reporting.
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in health insurance.
• 2 years of data reporting experience preferred.

Required Knowledge

• Exposure to SAS and SQL systems preferred.
• Strong PC skills.
• Intermediate database management skills preferred.
• Understanding of interdependencies among data.

Travel

Some travel may be required.

Salary Range

$61,200 - $81,900

This compensation range is specific to the job level and considers a range of factors including education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Horizon also offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package including:
