Kaizen Analytix LLC, a leading provider of analytical services, is currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Data Science & Optimization Contractor. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in mathematical and statistical analysis within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities

As part of your role, you will:

• Collaborate with our team of analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver high-quality analysis for client projects.
• Utilize advanced statistical and mathematical programming algorithms, such as linear programming, MIP (Mixed Integer Programming), and discrete optimization, to analyze large data sets.
• Identify trends and detect anomalies in the data using complex multi-variable analysis.
• Create custom, scalable, and sustainable integrated mathematical models using Python and optimization solvers including Gurobi, CBC, and CPLEX.
• Handle various data analysis and modeling projects as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related mathematical discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or
• A Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field with at least 4 years of professional experience.
• Deep expertise in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Proficiency in linear programming and mathematical optimization.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability and willingness to travel minimally as required.
