Job Description

As part of the Production Intelligence team, you will join the Data Science & Strategy division. Our tasks aim to describe, model, and predict the production capacity of teams on various titles in development. We analyze the production process from different angles: team resources, delivery speed and iteration, game stability, production cost, needs analysis, problem detection, etc.

In the course of our tasks, we pay particular attention to modeling and understanding the game development processes. For this, we process and analyze the data of titles currently in production in order to provide visibility on the status of a title and solutions to the risks it may face.

We are seeking a data science intern who will become an integral part of the team and will actively contribute to the development of our tools and studies. Your role will include:

  • Modeling the delivery velocity of the teams on various titles in development;
  • Estimating the ability to meet a release date;
  • Anticipating potential pitfalls that could hinder production;
  • Building a robust framework for evaluating the analyses and models selected;
  • Modeling and qualifying the predictability of a title in production.

Qualifications

  • You are a student on a gap year from a data science, statistics, computer science, or equivalent program, with some previous experience in the field (internship, study project, or personal);
  • You have an interest in open-ended questions and mathematical modeling;
  • You are not afraid of querying databases, like SQL;
  • You have notions of statistics and stochastic algorithms;
  • You know which one is the odd one out between Python, Pandas, and Koalas;
  • You are comfortable with English, especially speaking;
  • You are seeking a team where stimulation and challenge thrive (and we're not talking about retro gaming).
  • You've used a video game controller in the last thirty years (last thirty minutes would be a plus).
