PwC's US Acceleration Center is on the lookout for a proactive and skilled Data Science - Gen AI - Associate to enhance our dynamic team. This role is crucial for developing and implementing advanced machine learning models and algorithms integral to our GenAI projects.

About Your Role

As an Associate GenAI Data Scientist, you will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities where GenAI technologies can be applied.
• Support the development and implementation of machine learning models under the supervision of senior data scientists.
• Engage in data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering to prepare data sets for analysis.
• Work alongside data engineers to promote efficient data integrations into machine learning workflows.
• Validate and assess models using standard metrics and methodologies.
• Assist in designing and developing machine learning applications.
• Employ basic programming skills to help build software components.
• Gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
• Contribute to the creation of chatbots utilizing GenAI technologies.
• Present insights and findings to stakeholders through rudimentary data visualization and reports.

What We Are Looking For

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally involved with GenAI projects.
• Proficiency in programming with Python, R, or Scala and familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• A solid grasp of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data wrangling techniques.
• An understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design concepts.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming languages like Java, C++, or C#.
• Some exposure to deploying machine learning applications.
• Basic knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with advanced GenAI tools such as Azure AI Search, AWS Textract, and other AI technologies.
• Interest and background in chatbot development and design.
