The Opportunity

We are recruiting a Data Forecaster to join our Advanced Analytics HUB.

As a Junior Data Analyst specializing in demand forecasting, you will be crucial in analyzing data to predict future product demand and optimize inventory management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data, develop forecasting models, and provide actionable insights to enhance decision-making processes.

This Graduate position spans one year, with the possibility of becoming a permanent employee at the end of the program!

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to support demand forecasting activities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain demand forecasting models using Python
  • Interpret data trends and patterns to provide actionable insights for the planning team
  • Collaborate with various departments, including IT, pricing, marketing, and supply chain, to understand forecasting needs and improve accuracy
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Continuously monitor and improve forecasting models to ensure their accuracy and reliability
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and demand forecasting

Required Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development
  • Experience with common Python libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, Numpy, and Scikit-learn
  • Proficiency in Excel

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex data insights in an understandable manner
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Valuable Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with additional Python libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, SAC, Power BI)
  • Experience with data querying languages (SQL)
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

Languages

  • Spanish and English: Fluent level is a must; French will be valued
