We are seeking a talented Data Science Intern with a background in AI engineering, machine-learning, data mining, and information retrieval to join our team and help design, prototype, and build next-generation analytics, machine learning, and AI services.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop predictive analytics to guide business direction and decision-making.
  • Deploy and implement AI solutions that provide new business value using advanced techniques.
  • Translate customer data into actionable insights to drive business performance.
  • Provide expertise in data science, AI, machine learning, and software engineering.
  • Participate in the development and upkeep of AI systems and applications using Microsoft Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
  • Stay updated on emerging AI and machine learning trends, especially within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Improve our AI systems’ efficiency and performance through advanced algorithms.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights utilizing Azure and Databricks.
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of AI models through rigorous training, validation, and testing.
  • Securely implement Azure service endpoints, ad groups, and accounts.
  • Contribute to best practices for AI engineering through code reviews.

What You Bring

  • Pursuing a Bachelor/Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL; knowledge of additional programming languages is beneficial.
  • Experience in various AI applications like NLP, marketing, image recognition, etc.
  • Familiarity with large data sets, simulation/optimization, and distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Machine Learning and Azure Cognitive Services.
  • Understanding of secure implementation of service endpoints, ad groups, and accounts.
  • Experience with agile cultures or startup environments.
  • Professional attitude and team-oriented service approach.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working in cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving skills in data governance, management, and architecture.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The base salary for this position ranges from $39,200 to $65,300 annually. This represents the base salary only and does not include other variable compensation components, such as annual bonuses or commissions.
