About The Role:

At CrowdStrike, we are excited to expand our team with talented Data Scientists passionate about building the next generation of AI assistants powered by large language models (LLMs). Collaborate with a dynamic team of scientists, engineers, and product managers to enhance our assistant's ML capabilities and models. This role offers the chance to impact key cybersecurity challenges directly, leveraging groundbreaking AI technology in a growth-focused startup atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Research and prototype advanced AI/ML techniques to enhance the knowledge and skills of our assistants, focusing on reasoning, summarization, and interactivity.
  • Develop and integrate LLM-based models into our leading virtual assistant platform.
  • Work with large-scale data to generate insights, identify patterns, and visualize trends.
  • Enhance assistant performance by continuous data collection, monitoring, and deployment of finely-tuned self-hosted models.
  • Build scalable ML architectures and pipelines for deploying innovations in 24/7 production environments.
  • Align model updates with our product roadmap and user needs through cross-functional collaborations.
  • Promote CrowdStrike’s thought leadership in AI/ML via publications and presentations.
  • Maintain a culture of curiosity and continuous learning within our team.

What You'll Need:

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in applied machine learning research, developing and deploying systems in production.
  • Proficiency in Python, and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • Experience with CUDA, CuDNN, TensorRT, and other GPU-based technologies.
  • A passion for the cybersecurity field and excellent communication skills to simplify complex concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Bonus Points:
  • A PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields with a specialization in Data Science, AI, or ML.
  • A record of contributing to research in AI/ML, preferably published in high-impact peer-review journals.
