About the Position

As a Data Scientist Senior Associate on the Data Consumption Team, you will collaborate closely with peers and Data Engineers to publish curated datasets and develop our graph database. Your role is pivotal in supporting a product that provides visibility across data ecosystems to facilitate the firm's migration to the cloud and enhance user experience.

Your work will enable our employees to serve our customers more efficiently by producing curated datasets, dashboards, and comprehensive metrics reporting about the data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create innovative solutions to business challenges using various data science methods, algorithms, and techniques
  • Leverage your expertise and technical skills to influence our strategy and priorities
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver optimal solutions for data consumers, utilizing internal resources effectively
  • Assist stakeholders in defining their business problems and determining analytical solutions
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and the available data assets
  • Research, design, implement, and evaluate analytical approaches and models
  • Execute analytics projects and prototype solutions like curated datasets, including data collection, cleaning, testing, and scaling
  • Communicate proposed solutions and insights effectively to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer
  • Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Data Science, or Machine Learning
  • Expertise in SQL and Python
  • Experience in developing data as a product (e.g., curating and publishing datasets)
  • Proficiency in performing analytics or publishing data in the cloud
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Skilled in practical data analysis, cleansing, machine learning, time series, NLP, and visualization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building relational and graph datasets/databases
  • Knowledge of the product lifecycle, agile frameworks, and data engineering
  • Proven leadership ability and the capability to collaborate across teams
  • Creative self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Strong track record of success, supported by professional or educational background and accomplishments

Work Environment: This role requires a hybrid work schedule with 60% in-office presence. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.
