Position Overview

As a Data Scientist - Sr. Associate, you will be instrumental in creating scalable and robust machine learning solutions across various banking domains. Your efforts will help integrate these services into existing business workflows, driving impactful data-driven decisions in a leading global bank.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with internal teams and clients, passionate about leveraging AI and Machine Learning for added value.
• Exhibit intellectual curiosity and problem-solving aptitude for tackling challenging business issues.
• Operate as a self-starter with hands-on technical expertise to efficiently manage data assets.
• Develop client-specific approaches to create high-impact ML models.
• Plan and execute analytical projects independently and as part of a team.
• Collaborate with product managers, end users, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate data insights into operational capabilities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, or Operations Research.
• Strong knowledge of advanced data mining techniques, curating, processing, and transforming data.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Machine Learning lifecycle, including feature engineering, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Experience translating complex problems into analytically solvable models.
• Proficiency in Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning techniques, such as Classification, Forecasting, Anomaly Detection, Pattern Recognition, and Text Mining.
• Solid experience in software engineering and analytical programming languages, especially Python and SQL, including Big Data technologies like Spark/Hadoop and Cloud services.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, partnership, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high standards with minimal supervision.
