The ideal candidate will be a problem solver equipped with strong analytical and quantitative skills to address the key strategic needs of Visa's clients, including issuers, acquirers, and merchants. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau is essential. If you are a quick learner with a strong sense of personal responsibility, this role is for you.

  • Work with large volumes of data, extract and manipulate datasets using tools like the Hadoop Ecosystem, Python, SQL, Java, etc.
  • Clean, manipulate, analyze, and visualize large datasets.
  • Create dynamic and impactful visual interfaces/dashboards using Visa's data, analytics capabilities, and industry expertise.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Continuously present and implement innovative ideas to enhance Visa's current solutions.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • 4 years of analytical experience and a Post Graduate degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in a Quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with data analytics/programming tools such as SAS, Salford SPM, Hadoop, R, SQL, Python, or Hive.
  • Proficiency in statistical techniques including but not limited to Linear & Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Markov Chains, Support Vector Machines, Neural Networks, Clustering, Principal Component Analysis, and Factor Analysis.
  • Experience in the banking/consumer lending industry is preferred.
  • Experience in analytics (model development, strategy and framework, scorecard development, documentation, validation, governance, implementation, and automation).
  • High competence in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate solutions to solve business problems.

  • Experience in presenting ideas and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity and a continuous learning mindset.
  • Fluency in written and oral English is mandatory.
