Position Overview:

Spry Methods is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess an active Top Secret clearance and have extensive experience in designing and building complex data models. Additionally, this role requires familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence to support custom requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex data models.
• Develop and implement machine learning and AI algorithms to meet custom needs.
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement data-driven solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, processes, and algorithms.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.
• Develop data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Identify and address data-related issues and inconsistencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
• Extensive experience in designing and building complex data models.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI algorithms and tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their data services.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision techniques.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
