Hybrid Working

Here at Starling, we have a hybrid working approach - our preference is for you to be located within commuting distance of one of our offices in order to interact and collaborate in person. We don't dictate how much you should work from the office or home, that's something to be agreed upon between you and your manager.

Responsibilities:

• Translate data requirements from across the organization into robust and reusable data models

• Apply data transformation to datasets via dbt

• Adhere to established SDLC standards/processes for quick and reliable release of changes to production

• Maintain consistent and clear documentation and definitions across the data warehouse and Looker

• Collaborate with the wider data team to help meet the business goals

Requirements:

• Significant experience with SQL

• Extensive experience with Looker or a similar visualization tool

• Considerable experience with dbt or a desire to learn

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience with data architecture and dimensional modelling

• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

Interview Process:

Interviewing is a mutual process and we want you to have the time and opportunity to get to know us, just as we are getting to know you! Our interviews are conversational and we want to bring out the best in you, so come prepared with questions and remain curious. In general, you can expect the following stages, after a chat with one of our Talent Team:

• Stage 1 - 30 mins with one of the team

• Stage 2 - 60 mins technical interview with two team members

• Stage 3 - 45 min final with an executive and a member of the people team
