Job Description: DataOps Engineer

Responsibilities

As a DataOps Engineer, you will:

• Data Pipeline Management: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
• ETL Implementation: Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Data Modeling: Design and implement data models, schemas, and dimensional models to support analytical reporting and ad-hoc queries.
• Data Governance: Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, compliance, and security standards.
• Documentation and Collaboration: Document data operations processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance data accessibility and usability.
• Operational Monitoring: Monitor data pipelines and workflows, ensuring optimal performance, and promptly resolving issues to maintain operational efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

• Infrastructure Automation: Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Monitoring and Alerting: Skill in implementing monitoring and alerting solutions to track data pipeline performance.
• Data Governance: Experience in implementing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker for managing deployment, scaling, and operations of data processing applications in a cloud-native environment.
