Opportunity Awaits: Become a Decision Scientist at Density

We are eager to welcome a skilled Decision Scientist to our dynamic Analytics & Insights team, a group enriched by diverse talents across data science, design, research, and engineering. In the Workplace segment, you will leverage your passion for data storytelling and knowledge of workplace design to deliver impactful insights that help our clients enhance the performance of their office and real estate assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and identify trends in space usage across various portfolios.
  • Create and present compelling stories using Density’s rich dataset on space performance.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to elevate the quality of workplace insights and actionable recommendations provided to clients.

Who You Are:

  • At least 3 years of experience in data science or analytics.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or economics.
  • A solid grasp of the real estate, design, and workplace domains.
  • Proficient in SQL and programming (preferably Python), with a knack for efficient querying on large datasets.
  • Skilled in data visualization tools like matplotlib, seaborn, Tableau, and Looker.
  • Proven track record of managing analytical projects from start to finish, with a strong foundation in hypothesis testing and experimental design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional partners effectively.

Compensation Details:

Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000, based on experience and location. Note: Salary may vary significantly outside of the preferred location, San Francisco, CA. Equity may be part of the compensation package.
