Job Responsibilities

As a Dev Ops Engineer at Acoustic, you will:

• Ensure customer models run smoothly and troubleshoot any arising issues.
• Collaborate on strategic projects alongside data scientists, from design to delivery.
• Leverage cloud services, especially Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Utilize Docker, Docker Swarm, and Micro-Services in your workflows.
• Script and code using languages like Haskell, Scala, Shell, Python, Java, and JavaScript Spark. Proficiency in C is a plus.
• Understand and manage data processing pipelines.
• Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases, with preferences for MongoDB, Redis, and Snowflake.
• Perform version control and manage DevOps workflows, including git and pull requests. CI/CD experience is advantageous.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and develop effective solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists to meet machine learning and modeling requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science or Statistics.
• Experience with AI and machine learning, including Python packages like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Keras.
• Proficiency in Python environments, dataframes, and browser automation.
• Experience in retail or eCommerce modeling and pricing reports.
• Strong skills in Excel, statistics, data processing, and Java reports.
• Fluency in English and the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
• Capability to support ad-hoc analytical service requests.
• A customer service-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GAMS.
