DevOps Engineer - Swish Analytics

This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and implement Kubernetes clusters at scale for heavy/spiky ML workloads.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Data Engineering teams to optimize and scale workloads on Kubernetes using CI/CD, automation tools, and scripting languages.
• Assist in developing and implementing specialized infrastructure to enhance the reliability and scalability of services.
• Innovate, adopt, and enforce best practices for software deployment and code management.
• Monitor systems, respond to incidents, uphold system SLO/SLA, and follow up on production incidents.
• Provide on-call support as necessary.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in a DevOps or DevSecOps role.
• 4+ years of experience with AWS, including EKS, EC2, RDS, and other common AWS services using Terraform, Terragrunt, or similar technologies.
• 4+ years of experience creating CI/CD pipelines with Github Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
• 4+ years of experience managing, provisioning, and maintaining distributed systems with containerization tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• 2+ years of experience in Python or Go.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, including storage, networking, and security.
• Previous SRE or DevOps experience managing customer-facing systems in a 24/7 environment.
• Experience with machine learning pipelines.

Preferred:

• Experience with ML Ops or similar fields.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical methods.

Base Salary: $80,000 - $140,000
