Job Opportunity: Director of Analytics Consulting - Credit Risk at Experian

Job Description:

The ESS Data Science Team at Experian is integral to our global business, supporting the development and deployment of analytic and generative AI products for decision-making, analytics, and Fraud and ID management. Our team works to accelerate the adoption and effectiveness of Experian products, providing comprehensive product demonstrations and ensuring clear client understanding of our platforms. In this role, you will engage extensively with clients, focusing on Data Science and Experian GPT, establishing yourself as a specialist in Experian products.

You will need to have a sound understanding and practical experience in credit risk management, data science, and regulatory requirements within the financial services industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Gather feedback from leading financial institutions to inform new product development, feature prioritization, and the evolution of tools and capabilities on the Ascend Platform.
  • Lead collaborative teams involving Engineering and Data Science experts to design and implement Machine Learning models, dashboards, ad hoc analysis, and AI applications on a big data platform.
  • Work closely with Leaders, Sales Engineers, Account Executives, and Product Managers to introduce innovative solutions that significantly impact Experian's customer base.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and technological advancements to ensure compliance of our technology stack.
  • Research and integrate new data assets into Experian's ML and AI platform, assess tools for their fit and value add to solve client business problems.
  • Act as a crucial liaison between regional product management and technical analytics and engineering teams.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in credit risk management.
  • Experience managing analytical tool development in a regulatory environment.
  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software and data manipulation, particularly Python and R.
  • Proven track record in leading project teams, managing complex analytical projects, and establishing decision strategies and policies.
  • Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management within Experian and to our clients.
