What you'll be doing
As a member of CIBC’s Big Data Platform Services (BDPS) Team, the Director of Data Engineering Analysis, Design and Strategy is a seasoned leader in the Big Data space responsible for leading a team of passionate business systems and data analysts, solution designers and strategy consultants. The core responsibilities of this role are to strengthen, evolve and maintain our big data strategy with a focus on data acquisition, data integration, data consumption, metadata and lineage. This role manages relationships with internal partners, maintaining continuous business communications with them to proactively assess any disruption in application functioning. The role drives innovation across areas of responsibility, applying expert interpersonal, communications, and problem-solving skills.
