Role Overview
Position: Director, Product Management, Advanced Analytics & AI Solutions
As part of Mastercard Data & Services, you will enable customers across industries and geographies to make smarter decisions and achieve better outcomes through a tailored portfolio of solutions beyond transactions. The D&S global product team is seeking a Director of Product Management to support the evolution and expansion of the Targeting Analytics product suite. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and build analytics-based products and solutions while developing and executing go-to-market strategies to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate deep customer understanding into products and solutions that deliver substantial customer value.
- Balance the long-term direction of products with current needs by understanding technical, competitive, and commercial contexts.
- Act as a connector to ensure the commercial and technical success of our products by partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Technology teams.
- Drive globally relevant solutions, understanding regional needs and tradeoffs, and creating scalable products for diverse customer segments.
- Develop a consistent product vision, strategy, and roadmap for custom and configured analytics products based on customer and market trends.
- Lead and motivate direct and cross-functional teams, building trust-based relationships for efficient operations.
- Manage external supplier and partner relationships in compliance with Mastercard policies.
- Support regional and frontline teams as a product expert by creating sales enablement materials, providing training, and participating in customer conversations as needed.
- Establish and drive product management disciplines across the product lifecycle, ensuring product readiness across various perspectives.
- Foster a user-centric culture of data-driven, test-and-learn experimentation to continuously enhance the product user experience.
- Lead scheduled Voice of the Customer engagements to identify and address product friction points.
- Collaborate with the Product Management-Technical and Software Development Guild to ensure high-quality, efficient delivery of software.
- Build high-performing teams and actively manage talent, addressing gaps with proactive learning and timely feedback.
- Navigate across cultures and geographies, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, and leverage strong relationships within Mastercard.
- Make technical and tradeoff decisions to enhance functionality, time-to-market, and feasibility.
- Ensure consistent documentation to support knowledge management and repeatability across projects.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to operate with complete independence and autonomy.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Track record of successfully developing and scaling B2B products leveraging data, analytics, and AI/ML.
- Action- and results-oriented with strong prioritization and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in developing product and engineering talent.
- Experience with external partners to build joint solutions and accelerate growth.
- Skilled in developing and evangelizing product lifecycle management processes and tools.
- Effective communicator with executives, peers, and team members.
- Experience setting direction for go-to-market plans in multiple regions and leveraging market insights.
- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships across cross-functional teams and multiple regions.
