Job Description: Senior Game Data Analyst

We are currently seeking a Senior Game Data Analyst to join our Data team. As part of the game production crew, and reporting to the Global Director of Data Science and Analytics, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to collect, clean, analyze, and automate the data-exploitation process. Your role will involve modeling, predicting, and segmenting vast customer data sets. Additionally, you’ll work with an international team of data experts, share insights, and help enhance the skills of our technical data team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead analytics efforts with the ultimate goal of enhancing our games.
  • Act as a crucial link between business and technical teams through proactive, effective communication.
  • Advocate and implement a hypothesis-driven analytical framework with all stakeholders.
  • Oversee game KPIs, conduct thorough trend investigations, and apply A/B testing and statistical methods to evaluate features and shape future directions.
  • Serve as a leader and mentor for a data team, directly influencing game success and fostering a culture of insights driven by hypotheses, blending analytical prowess with creative intuition.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, preferably within the gaming industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Business Intelligence, Economics, Engineering, or another technical field.
  • Excellent understanding of business practices and monetization strategies.
  • Advanced SQL skills: substantial experience querying large, complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as R or Python is a plus.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, meet ever-changing deadlines, and manage priorities across multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable and confident in delivering presentations and communicating analyses.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills (mandatory).
  • Passion for video games.
