Job Opportunity: EDA Data Analyst at NXP Semiconductors

Qualifications and Experience

We're looking for individuals with a deep understanding and experience in the semiconductor industry. Specifically, you should have:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Computer Science, Electronics, or an equivalent field.
  • 6+ years of experience in EDA license management and application development.
  • Proficiency in FlexNet Manager implementations and maintenance data, as well as EDA license data management through various analytical applications.
  • Strong data analytical and engineering background, particularly with AWS Data Lake.
  • Experience building systems to manage large datasets, converting data into usable formats for reporting and visualization.
  • Skills in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) for cloud data platforms on a large scale.
  • Understanding of AWS cloud services and various data analytical and machine learning services.
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL/NoSQL DB systems.
  • Ability to build, optimize, and create reliable data systems and pipelines for predictive and perspective analysis.
  • Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions like AWS S3 and predictive data analysis.

Technical Expertise

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Strong understanding of the EDA license environment in the semiconductor industries.
  • Excellent debugging skills related to EDA licenses and EDA tool setups.
  • A solid Linux background and IT automation mindset.
  • Team player's attitude and the ability to create and maintain a positive work environment.
  • An aptitude for working in challenging environments with a proactive attitude.
  • Programming skills, especially in Python, and knowledge of various Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
  • Familiarity with data analytical methods and tools.
  • Expertise in Linux/Unix administration and Flexlm, RLM administration.
  • Experience in tool license and reporting management (FlexNet Manager, Splunk).
  • Strong presentation, communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell and Python.
  • Familiarity with ITIL process framework and SAFe/Scrum Agile Methodology.

Your Role

As an EDA DevOps Automation and Analyst, you will bring automation and analytical solutions to our organization. You will also provide technical support to NXP R&D engineers using EDA tool licenses. Responsibilities include overseeing EDA license assets, utilization, and trends, and addressing issues proactively. You will work in a global Agile team, guided by a Product Owner.
