We are currently seeking a visionary leader to head our Enterprise Data Intelligence (EDI) initiatives at our Warsaw, Poland location. This pivotal role focuses on steering data-driven decision-making, supervising all aspects of Data Integrations, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence throughout the company.

What will you do?

As the EDI Manager, you will play a crucial role in crafting our operational strategies by enhancing system and data integration, creating analytical dashboards, and ensuring insights align with overarching trends.

Our enterprise technology team plays a vital role in offering data insights and technical systems that empower our teams to achieve their goals effectively. We engage with Asana’s Analytics, Data Science, and business teams across functions to comprehend their needs and ensure appropriate data and technical support to meet our targets.

Primarily based in our Poland office, this role follows an office-centric hybrid schedule with standard in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, allowing for flexible remote work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Building and Leadership: Initiate and lead the EDI team, coaching members to foster growth and leadership skills.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop a multi-year vision and strategy, enhancing our data architecture.
  • Operational Excellence: Define clear team roles, goals, and processes, and recommend data-driven optimization strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between the Warsaw office and global headquarters to align EDI strategies with corporate goals.

About You:

You have a Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, supplemented with substantial experience in engineering management, especially in data engineering and integrations. A proven track record of leading teams from the ground up to achieve operational success is crucial. You should possess strong collaborative skills to work with various departments and comfort in handling strategic planning and problem-solving in ambiguous situations.

This position demands flexibility to work across time zones and may require occasional travel to headquarters for strategic alignment and meetings.
