Job Summary
As an Energy & Sustainability Data Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in compiling, managing, and reporting on data concerning GHG reduction initiatives and other sustainability objectives. Your insights and analysis will guide strategic decisions and support the achievement of key performance indicators related to energy and sustainability.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
You will be instrumental in:
- Training and supporting junior Data Analysts to enhance team performance and meet critical deadlines.
- Utilizing advanced analytical tools such as Microsoft Power BI, VBA, and Tableau to develop models and extract insights.
- Performing trend analysis and identifying data patterns to inform sustainability strategies.
- Ensuring data integrity by coordinating with various internal teams and integrating diverse data sources.
- Developing reports that track sustainability metrics like water usage, waste management, and energy consumption.
Teamwork and Collaboration
Your collaborative skills will be key as you:
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to manage data effectively.
- Act as a subject matter expert in data visualization, providing necessary training and support.
- Assist in the development of new tools and processes to enhance data management and project oversight.
Knowledge & Skills Required
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A university degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; or a college diploma with significant relevant experience.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, VBA, and familiarity with relational database principles.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI or Tableau, and strong skills in using DAX.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in facility management services is considered a plus.
