We are currently looking for an Experience Data Analyst to join our US Life Experience and Inforce team. This role is pivotal in analyzing and enhancing our models and methodologies, contributing to our core mission of assisting millions of policyholders.

Position Details:

Title: Experience Data Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA (hybrid) or Remote US (Eastern or Central Time)

This opportunity is open to residents in multiple states including Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, and many others across the Eastern and Central Time Zones.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a vital member of our team, you will:

  • Construct, maintain, and refine experience studies and tools.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and risks.
  • Document processes and provide detailed reviews of your findings.
  • Engage in data modernization and system migration projects.
  • Initiate and implement process improvements proactively.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent communication and enhance reconciliations.
  • Develop new predictive analytics and enhance existing models to modernize our toolkit.
  • Handle ad hoc actuarial requests as needed.

What You Bring:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or technical field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Spotfire or PowerBI.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Preferred:

  • Over 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Background in life insurance.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting requirements and experience studies for life insurance products.

Note: Currently, Genworth does not sponsor employment visas for this position. This role has a salary range of $84,600 to $139,700 with additional incentive plans based on performance.
