About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and versatile professional to join our team as a Fabric and Power BI Data Analyst/Developer. In this role, you will engage in due diligence, requirement gathering, and dashboard creation to enhance business intelligence solutions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Fabric and Business Intelligence Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Create data models, transformations, and visualizations to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions.

Integration and Automation:

  • Integrate Power BI with various data sources and systems.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes for timely and accurate data.
  • Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency.

Documentation and Training:

  • Document configurations, processes, and best practices for fabric and Power BI administration.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and internal teams.

Technical Skills Required

Development Capabilities:

  • Proficiency with Power BI development tools and languages, including DAX.
  • Experience integrating Power BI reports into applications.
  • Programming skills in C#, .NET, or PowerShell (preferred).

Cloud Platforms:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Understanding of cloud-based services for application hosting and data storage.
  • Experience with Azure Blobs.

Data Modeling and Analysis:

  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes for data integration.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets.

Performance Optimization:

  • Skills in performance improvement for Fabric applications and Power BI reports.
  • Monitoring system performance and optimizing resource utilization.

Soft Skills Required

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills for addressing issues effectively.

Communication: Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Documentation: Proficiency in documenting configurations and best practices.

Training: Capability to train and support end-users and other team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Power BI Certified Data Analyst Associate Certification Preferred.
  • Experience with other BI tools and reporting solutions.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell and cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
