Job Description: Financial/Data Analyst About the role As a Financial Data Analyst, you will be a vital part of our finance team, responsible for analyzing financial data, cost accounting, statistical modeling, and creating informative dashboards to support strategic decision-making. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in financial and cost accounting, a passion for data analysis, and a talent for transforming complex data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Data Analysis: -Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. -Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including revenue, expenses, and profitability assessments. -Develop financial models to predict future financial performance. 2. Cost Accounting: -Manage cost accounting processes, including tracking and analyzing costs related to products, projects, and services. -Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for cost optimization. 3. Statistical Modeling: -Use statistical techniques to analyze and interpret financial data. -Build and maintain predictive models to support financial forecasting and scenario analysis. 4. Dashboard Creation: -Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present financial insights to stakeholders. -Make sure dashboards are user-friendly and provide real-time access to key financial metrics. 5. Data Integrity: -Make sure data is accurate, consistent, and complete in financial databases and reports. -Work together with IT and data teams to resolve data-related issues. 6. Collaboration: -Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and management, to provide data-driven insights and support decision-making. -Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements: -Extensive experience as a data analyst. -Demonstrated expertise in finance and a robust financial background. -Proficiency in Dashboard Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and Data Analytics Tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python, SQL, Excel, Google BigQuery, among others). -Proactive and self-reliant problem solver, capable of handling challenges independently. Schedule: Full time (40 hours weekly) Compensation: 4k - 4.5k monthly.
