Your Role
- Showcasing your exceptional analytical and statistical skills and deep comprehension of trading strategies and financial markets, to consistently achieve superior results and reach the performance targets set by our clients.
- Utilizing your statistical prowess to understand market data, recognizing patterns, trends, and correlations.
- Observing market trends, formulating trading strategies, and executing trades across a myriad of financial instruments like forex, commodities, and indices.
- Employing statistical techniques, including Excel, MATLAB, Python, and R, to process market data like price shifts, trading volumes, and market indicators, so as to develop trading strategies and make well-informed decisions.
- Evaluating trading strategies' performance and fine-tuning them based on the outcomes of data analysis.
- Exhibiting keen attention to detail and swiftly pinpointing trading opportunities while skirting potential risks.
- Sharing your insights and market analysis with team members, aiding the overall success of our trading team.
- Crafting and applying statistical models for risk management, employing tools like value-at-risk (VaR) analysis and Monte Carlo simulations to plan possible scenarios and estimate their probability.
- Utilizing statistical analysis of content depicting market sentiment, like news articles, social media posts, and economic indicators, to measure market mood and anticipate potential price movements.
- Maintaining superior work ethics and liaising with clients regarding product selection.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years full-time experience performing the above tasks for a financial services company.
- A degree level or higher qualification in a related field.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and similar tasks.
- An analytical mindset with the capacity to decipher complex financial data.
- Outstanding communication and persuasion skills.
