Position Summary As a Fintech Data Analyst your primary responsibilities will be to oversee the company's Fintech setup performance by evaluating quantitative and qualitative metrics, merge travel and payment related business data and create pertinent reports and methods to ensure goal achievement. In addition, you will work with internal departments as well as external partners to manage incidents, suggest optimizations and participate in new solution developments/projects aimed at enhancing the company's automation and value. The perfect candidate must have excellent investigative abilities, problem-solving mindset, sharp business understanding and project management skills. You will be based in Athens and will be a part of the Etraveli Group Fintech Team. Responsibilities - Oversee the company's checkout page acceptance performance. - Conduct daily/weekly/monthly KPI analysis and cooperate closely with the Fintech product/ solutions team to suggest corrective actions and maximize the company's impact. - Contribute to cross-functional projects across fintech and travel-tech areas related to KPI improvements and overall approval uplift. - Persistently seek automation within the data analysis field to encourage real-time alerts, provide input for machine learning development and promote automation - Completely manage dedicated reporting package aimed at monitoring relevant KPI performance. - Support new fintech products/ solutions evaluation including expected impact of new providers. - Solve operational issues regarding fintech setup associated with 3rd party providers. Keep current documentation with logs on incidents/changes. - Identify areas of risk, evaluate and escalate to the appropriate teams while being able to produce comprehensive material, present and discuss pertinent findings with different teams. - Stay up-to-date with new regulations of Schemes and fintech industry’s news/regulations. Requirements - Degree in Business, Economics, or other related field - Preferably 1-2 years of relevant working experience - Prior exposure in relationship management and/or project management preferably involving strategic technology sourcing - Entry level data analysis skills (some exposure to BI tools, proficiency in MS Excel, capability to prepare reports, map data from different sources) - Self-orientation and carefulness with an inherent appreciation for ensuring projects' efficient progress - Ability to lead collaboration across functions and external contributors, involving deadline setting and task assignment with a positive attitude - Ability to convert unstructured expectations into definite and clearly outlined deliverables, as well as to prioritize deliverables across multiple projects and respect deadlines - Capacity to work independently and as a team member with minimum supervision - Ability to take initiative, act proactively and pay attention to detail - Excellent communication skills, a positive approach & command of English - High level of responsibility & integrity coupled with eagerness to work in a multicultural, international environment subject to continuous changes Benefits We are looking for individuals who would make the world smaller for travelers while seeking bigger opportunities for themselves.
