Position Summary In the role of a Fintech Product Data Analyst, you'll engage with the international Digital Insurance and Fintech value-added services Ecosystem within a quick-paced technology organization. Your primary responsibilities will be to regularly monitor and analyze the performance of customer-facing Fintech products by assessing quantitative and qualitative metrics, combine travel and industry-related knowledge to understand multivariable implications, develop fitting reports and methodologies to ensure goal achievement, and run experiments on product optimizations. Furthermore, you'll coordinate with internal departments and external partners to manage interdependencies, propose optimizations, and participate in the development of new solution projects that ensure a high level of automation while increasing company value. The ideal candidate must have top-notch investigative skills, a problem-solving mindset, excellent business acuity and project management skills. You will be based in Athens and will be part of the Etraveli Group Fintech organization. Responsibilities
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on analyzing customer-facing Fintech products including Digital Insurance and other value-added services.
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly KPI analysis and collaborate closely with the Fintech product/ solutions team to maximize the company's impact.
  • Initiate the introduction of new routines, new KPIs and new strategies to maximize Fintech products’ performance in terms of sales and profitability.
  • Conduct analysis based on business problems to define solutions and provide development requirements.
  • Fully manage a designated reporting package aiming to monitor relevant KPIs performance and document the requirements for implementing reports, models, and dashboards on the company’s BI system.
  • Engage in cross-functional projects across fintech and travel-tech areas related to departmental KPI improvements and overall performance enhancement.
  • Continually search for automations within the data analysis area to promote real-time alerts, provide input to accommodate machine learning development, and promote automations.
  • Resolve possible operational issues concerning fintech set up related to third-party providers. Maintain up-to-date documentation with incident/change logs.
  • Identify areas of risk, evaluate and escalate to the relevant teams while being able to create comprehensive material, present and discuss relevant findings with different teams.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mathematics, Business, Science, Technology, or Engineering.
  • About 2-3 years working experience in a similar analyst position.
  • Experience/knowledge of the fintech area, digital insurance ecosystem and/or large data analysis under a top down/ bottom up approach will be considered a plus.
  • Experience in reporting solutions (e.g. Qlikview, Qliksense, Looker etc.) will be highly valued. Advanced experience with MS office (especially Excel).
  • Robust numerical & organizational skills combined with a business understanding.
  • Data-driven/360 view thinking along with strong critical, analytical, and investigation skills.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to take ownership in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Ability to act proactively, take initiatives and pay attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, can-do attitude & excellent command of the English language.
  • High level of responsibility & integrity combined with a willingness to work in a multicultural, international environment subject to continuous changes.
