Role: Freelance English-Speaking Online Data Analyst (South Africa)

We are seeking dedicated freelance English-speaking Online Data Analysts for a project designed to enhance the content and quality of digital maps used by millions worldwide. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, enjoy research, and possess in-depth knowledge of national and local geography.

This freelance position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to work at your convenience as tasks become available. You will complete research and evaluation tasks in a web-based environment, such as verifying and comparing data, and determining the relevance and accuracy of information. Comprehensive guidelines will be provided for each task.

Requirements

• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Residency in South Africa for the past two consecutive years.
• Ability to follow guidelines and conduct online research using search engines, online maps, and website information.
• Familiarity with current and historical business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural affairs in South Africa.
• Willingness to work on diverse Task Types (e.g., Maps, News, Audio tasks, Relevance).
• Adaptability to changing guidelines and tasks.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.

This role requires completing a standard recruitment process, including passing an open-book assessment. This long-term project will occasionally subject your work to quality assurance checks.

Payment

The rate of pay per task includes the time spent reading task guidelines. Payment will be issued in line with the terms of the contributor agreement upon the successful completion of tasks.
