State Street is excited to announce the recruitment of an experienced Senior Data Analyst/Manager to join our Global Custody team. This pivotal role is instrumental in propelling our data product development agenda forward on a global scale.

About the Role

As a Senior Data Analyst/Manager, you will collaborate closely with the product development data lead and head to execute the data strategy with a strong focus on developing data capabilities (e.g., data models), and advancing data insights through analysis, visualization, and prediction. Your contributions will align with our strategic objective to strengthen State Street’s position in the Asset Servicing industry during this transformative period for our product organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Data Strategy: Partner with technology, office of architecture, operations, and enterprise data management to build a data-driven operating model.
• Data Capability Development: Lead initiatives around data models (LDMs), data governance and quality, data channels, and data insights/visualization.
• Operational Efficiency: Support design and development of operational control oversight and dashboards across custody capability with actionable workflows.
• Product Data Platform: Collaborate with product control in developing a data platform to provide business insights.
• Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with policies, frameworks, and oversee issues, risks, audit, and compliance items related to data themes.
• Senior Management Presentations: Present to senior management and lead the delivery of key initiatives as required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive background in data solutions, data modeling, analysis, and visualization.
• In-depth understanding of the custody domain and related data management needs.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to present data in a clear and compelling manner.
• Proven track record as a change agent with significant delivery experience.
• Proficiency in data management, BI tools, dashboarding, charting, and reporting development.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience navigating complex organizations.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Securities Services and prior roles in product organizations.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Python, etc.
