Position Summary

At Teleflex, through our cutting-edge Project Quantum, we are reshaping product lifecycle and master data management across our global operations. We aim to build robust mechanisms, processes, and systems that enhance our organizational competency in managing critical product data. As a Global Data Manager, your role will be pivotal in implementing and maintaining these structures, ensuring our project objectives are met and integrating them into our steady-state business operations.

Principal Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data governance framework to define policies, roles, and accountability.
• Support process implementation for Master Data Governance & Management and enforce the Teleflex Master Data Strategy.
• Coordinate with business data owners to establish and maintain data rules and standards.
• Manage and monitor the health of the data governance processes, including defining KPIs and SLAs to measure success.
• Oversee material master data management across MDG and ECC/S4 systems.
• Conduct holistic change impact assessments and support data migration activities for projects, including M&A and system transitions.
• Champion data quality initiatives, ensuring continuous alignment between business and IT.
• Deliver training to business users on master data management and governance.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing industry best practices and maintaining the end-to-end data catalogue.
• Liaise with product owners and regulatory teams to ensure accurate product version setup and transition management.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in a highly regulated industry.
• Project Management or Six Sigma qualifications are preferred.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

• Proven experience in leading data operations and global data migration processes in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in Tableau or a similar visualization tool, data analytics, and project management.
• Comprehensive understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and ERP systems like SAP, especially in relation to supply chain, manufacturing, and quality.
• Familiarity with Design Control, Change Control, and Product Lifecycle Management practices.
• Demonstrated capability in managing cross-functional teams and effective stakeholder communication.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
