Position Overview

As a Global Investment Data Manager, you will spearhead a team responsible for provisioning data across operations, acquisition, analysis, and distribution services. Your team will support front, middle, and back-office teams, along with other enterprise data clients and internal stakeholders. You will collaborate globally to ensure that our data services align with consumer expectations, anticipate client needs, and lead initiatives for enhanced service delivery.

Core Responsibilities

As a Manager in Data Management, you will:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team, fostering an inclusive and positive atmosphere with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee data acquisition, analysis, and distribution services, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of Global Investment Data Management.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to regulatory changes affecting the team, while anticipating client needs.
  • Support new projects and initiatives, considering their global impact and ensuring seamless implementation.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders locally and across the enterprise.
  • Stay informed on financial markets, securities, and investment data to bring a knowledgeable perspective to the data management process.

To excel in this role, you must demonstrate the capacity to manage complex issues in a fast-paced environment. This includes excellent communication, relationship management, negotiating, and analytical skills. You should also have the ability to work independently under tight deadlines and with attention to detail.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Significant relevant work experience, including team leadership.
  • Expertise in financial concepts and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to stay updated on policies, practices, and trends affecting the Data Management organization.
  • Exceptional client relationship, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with external providers and internal clients at all levels.
  • Excellent judgment and ability to take decisive action independently.
  • Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills, with a knack for fostering teamwork and development.

Additional Factors

This hybrid role requires working out of our Dublin office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with frequent travel to London. Initially, fortnightly travel is expected during onboarding, followed by monthly trips thereafter.
