Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze large, complex health and drug datasets
  • Develop and implement data analysis plans to address project objectives
  • Support data staging and processes for monthly client deliverables
  • Produce sophisticated code and ensure the reasonability of results
  • Build user-friendly and dynamic models for client uses
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills
  • Effectively communicate data analysis findings to the consulting team - both verbally and in writing
  • Work efficiently in a multi-task environment
  • Collaborate independently and as part of a team on various projects

Qualifications

Experience Needed:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar software for quantitative analysis
  • Fluency in one or more coding languages (e.g., SAS, R, VBA, SQL) and a willingness to learn others
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, actuarial science, computer science, data science, statistics, economics, or another quantitative field
  • 1 to 3 years of full-time professional work experience in a similar role, or within the pharmaceutical industry

Preferred:

  • Experience with R Shiny
  • Experience in application development and software implementation
  • Experience within a pharmaceutical/biotechnology company, health-related company, or consulting firm
  • Master’s degree in a related, quantitative field

The Team

Our pharmaceutical consulting team encompasses over 40 professionals in the Indianapolis Health practice, including actuaries, data analysts, pharmacists, and graphic designers. We work with pharmaceutical manufacturers, leveraging our healthcare and payer knowledge, data insights, and industry expertise to deliver strategic and tactical solutions for our clients.

Location

This role offers a hybrid working environment, requiring 2 to 3 days per week of on-site work in our Indianapolis office.
