What You Will Do

As a Healthcare Data Analyst in Risk Adjustment, you'll be instrumental in optimizing our healthcare data analytics and risk adjustment strategies. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Data Collection and Preparation: Extract and aggregate data from diverse sources like EHRs and claims databases, ensure data accuracy through rigorous cleaning and preprocessing, and perform detailed quality checks.
• Model Development and Validation: Work alongside experts including actuaries and statisticians to refine risk adjustment algorithms, validate models to ensure reliability, and continuously monitor outcomes to drive enhancements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders across the healthcare spectrum to align on business needs, enhance data systems and infrastructure, and support strategic decisions with expert insights on risk adjustment methodologies.
• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Apply statistical methods to analyze data, identify key trends, and provide comprehensive reports and visualizations to stakeholders, enhancing decision-making processes.

Who You Are

You have a robust academic background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, supplemented by at least three years of experience in healthcare data analysis, particularly risk adjustment. You excel in statistical tools like R, Python, SAS, and are well-versed in healthcare coding systems and regulations. With outstanding analytical and communication skills, you're able to articulate complex data insights into clear, actionable solutions. Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling is highly regarded.
