Join Our Team as a Healthcare Research & Data Analyst at Clarivate

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a motivated Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join our dynamic Infectious, Niche, and Rare Diseases (INRD) team at Clarivate. This role encompasses three primary functions:

1. Market research and insight generation
2. Project management and execution
3. Client service

As an Analyst, you will leverage your therapeutic expertise and market research data to provide targeted insights for decision-makers in the biopharmaceutical industry. Your work will cover a diverse research portfolio including infectious and rare diseases such as inflammatory, nervous system, hematology, and oncology.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for candidates with:

• An advanced degree (MA, MBA, MPH, MS, or PhD in life sciences, social sciences, or statistics) and/or relevant experience in the biopharma, healthcare, market research, consulting, or financial sectors.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Preferred Skills

It would be advantageous if you have:

• Experience in modeling and forecasting pharmaceutical markets.
• Knowledge of key information resources such as clinical trial and pipeline databases, sales/consumption data, and physician audit databases.
• Experience with Tableau.
• Experience with real-world data such as claims and EHR.
• Understanding of market access and reimbursement issues in major and/or growth markets.

Role Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Develop and apply an understanding of drug development and commercialization, particularly in INRD markets.
• Conduct primary research through interviews and surveys with medical and healthcare experts.
• Analyze clinical data and commercial information from various sources to evaluate market trends, assess opportunities, and build market forecasts.
• Communicate business insights effectively through multiple formats, including slide decks and live presentations.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with clients by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
• Address client queries and ad hoc requests efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of complex commercial issues when communicating with clients and internal stakeholders.

The INRD team at Clarivate is composed of 12 members, with 3 based in the US. Our team specializes in market research on infectious, niche, and rare diseases. We manage the planning and oversight of syndicated market research reports, as well as custom reports for a wide array of pharmaceutical clients.
