The Role

Abridge is hiring Senior Integration Engineers to support our rapid growth. You will be a key player in designing, building, and scaling integrations for our product, working alongside engineers, implementation specialists, support teams, and product managers. Your task will include real-time and batch data integrations with our partners and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and support integrations to scale our business and infrastructure.
  • Create secure, robust healthcare integrations using REST-like APIs, FHIR, HL7v2, and other third-party APIs.
  • Work closely with health system customers on deployment, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Enhance systems for functionality, performance, stability, quality, and security.
  • Advocate for high standards, add documentation, share knowledge, and help manage technical debt.
  • Maintain a user-centric mindset and build deep user empathy.
  • Effectively communicate within and on behalf of cross-functional product delivery teams, including design, product, machine learning, and infrastructure disciplines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience launching business-critical integrations with large enterprises.
  • Proficiency with technologies such as REST-like APIs, OAuth2.0, and mTLS.
  • Eagerness to work with our tech stack, including NodeJS/TypeScript and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Passion for healthcare integrations.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating in a team environment.
  • Willingness to contribute wherever needed in a fast-moving startup.
  • Curiosity to experiment and learn across different domains and languages.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • 2+ years of experience with healthcare data integrations.
  • Experience with EHRs like Epic.
  • Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, X12 technologies.
