About The Role

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced QA Developer to join our dynamic team. As a QA Developer at Pallet, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge products.

Responsibilities

  • Champion user needs by understanding and advocating for user expectations, ensuring product functionality and usability.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to define requirements, clarify specifications, and provide iterative feedback throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to QA perspectives in project discussions to ensure alignment with overall project objectives and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvements in testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and automation coverage.
  • Work with the QA team to prioritize critical test cases and expedite their automation for timely release cycles.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and edge cases not covered by existing automated tests.
  • Foster strong collaboration with product and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Design, code, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript for API and UI testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support continuous testing efforts.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies that address both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Execute automated tests, analyze outcomes, identify defects, and generate detailed reports to drive product improvements.
  • Identify, document, and resolve testing issues, optimizing test scenarios for maximum efficiency.
  • Maintain close interaction with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Manual testing may be required from time to time.

You Have

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance with an emphasis on automated testing.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Playwright and TypeScript, showcasing strong automated test script development skills.
  • Proven experience in dynamic startup environments, demonstrating adaptability and rapid problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and robust problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills, with effective communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Expertise in developing and executing comprehensive product testing strategies.
  • Experience testing complex software systems in fast-paced startup settings.
  • Deep understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with major test management tools like TestRail, Playwright, and JIRA.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, especially Kanban.
  • Strong expertise in automated testing tools, with a focus on Playwright and TypeScript for API and UI automation.
